Isabel Lezcano

Landscape Architect

Isabel graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2011 with a MA(hons) degree in Landscape Architecture. Her early experience includes a year out placement at GROSS. MAX. in Edinburgh. Here she developed her skills as a designer and graphic artist, working on a number of competitions, including the international design competition for Tempelhof Airport in Berlin, Germany.

Prior to Joining OPEN, Isabel worked for Balmori Associates in New York. Whilst there she was involved in a range of projects including Puerto Triana Development in Seville, Spain and the masterplan of Ciudad Empresarial S.A. in Bogota, Colombia. Isabel draws inspiration from a range of creative fields, combining conceptual thought and visual representation. Using this approach she lead the Landscape representation BAL/LAB, testing out new ways of graphically depicting landscape in the modern-day.
